A metal print is a modern, high-definition printing technique where your photos, artwork, or designs are infused directly onto a specially coated sheet of metal—usually aluminium. The result is a sleek, vibrant, and durable display piece with a contemporary, gallery-quality finish that brings images to life like never before.

Unlike traditional paper prints, metal prints are ink-infused, not just printed on the surface. This unique process ensures colours are more vivid, details are sharper, and the final product is exceptionally long-lasting.

At Pixmagic, we use a sublimation printing process to produce our custom HD metal prints:

1: Your image is first printed in reverse on a special transfer paper using dye-sublimation inks.

2: The printed transfer paper is then placed onto a pre-coated aluminium panel. Under high heat and pressure, the ink turns into gas and permanently embeds itself into the coating of the metal.

3: As the panel cools, the gas solidifies back into dye, locking the image beneath the surface of the metal—resulting in a vibrant, waterproof, scratch-resistant finish.

Each print comes with pre-installed magnets on the back and peel-and-stick wall pads. Just clean the wall, stick the magnetic pads, and snap your metal print into place—no tools or nails required.

Our adhesive wall pads are designed to be wall-friendly and easy to
remove. However, performance may vary depending on the condition of the wall, paint type, and humidity. For best results, apply them to clean, dry, and smooth surfaces. We recommend waiting at least 3 months after painting before applying, and always test a small area first before full application. These pads are not suitable for all surfaces and may cause damage if applied incorrectly.

If you're unsure or concerned about potential wall damage during removal, we recommend gently warming the adhesive pad with a hairdryer before peeling it off. This softens the adhesive, making removal easier and reducing the risk of damage.

Yes! You can absolutely use your own photos to create a custom Pixmagic print.

To ensure the best print quality, please follow these file guidelines:

Accepted File Formats:

• JPG / JPEG(Recommended)
• PNG
• TIFF (optional – for advanced users)

Image Requirements:

• High Resolution (at least 150-300 DPI recommended)
• Minimum size: 2000 x 3000 pixels for medium to large prints
• Make sure your image is clear and not blurry or pixelated
• For Framed prints, leave important details away from the edges, as some crop may occur during production
• For best results, avoid screenshots or heavily compressed files.

Most of them, yes! All of our framed prints come with our signature peel-and-stick magnetic hanging system, making them easy to install and damage-free.

However, for larger frameless prints—such as 70x50 cm and 90x60 cm—we use a thicker aluminium backing panel for added stability. These are designed to be hung using the provided nails and wall hooks instead of magnets.

This ensures that even our biggest prints stay secure and level on your wall.
